The business grew out of the need for a more affordable alternative to the traditional monopoly held by the major bookstores. By sourcing information directly from lecturers, negotiating with suppliers and publishing certain titles in house, we were able to give students their books at unbeatable prices.
In 2016, we seperated our bookstore from our publishing operations. Bookit Books is now a stand alone entity which services students in the Hatfield area - specifically students of the University of Pretoria. Kourse still remains repsonsible for the publishing and distribution of our client's textbooks.
